Thank You

Thanks to the folks who restored the Park’s “pyramid of lights.”

Holiday Display Vandalized

The Cianfrani Park Holiday Display – a “pyramid of lights” – was vandalized in the early morning hours of Dec. 16.

According to reports from neighbors, the vandalism likely occurred some time after 1 a.m. The lights from one side of the pyramid were pulled down, several of the ornamental balls were smashed, and two legs of the pyramid were pulled out of place.

A report has been filed with the police. This is, unfortunately, the second consecutive year the holiday display has been vandalized. If anyone has information about the recent vandalism, please leave a comment here or talk to 3rd District police.

Holiday Lighting Ceremony

The Holiday Lighting Ceremony was a great success, despite the rain. Santa was in good spirits and had lots of treats for the kiddies. And we heard the story of Hanukkah and the story of the Christmas tree’s origin. My camera battery died, so I don’t have any pictures. Maybe someone can send me a few to put up on the site.
